The location of Sentosa Island is separated from the main island of Singapore. Sentosa Island is divided into four areas which represent different entertainment zones. These areas are Imbiah Lookout, Siloso Point, Beach and Resort World Sentosa.
Route To Sentosa Island
You can get to Sentosa Island in various easy ways. The following is the route to Sentosa Island:
- Sentosa Express
The first time you have to go to Harbourfront MRT station after that continue to Vivo City Mall 3rd floor. Then you can buy tickets at the counter or with the Ticket Vending Machine which is right next to the counter. The departure schedule starts from 7:00 to 24:00.
- Cable Car
To use this facility you must have sufficient budget. You will see a magnificent view from above. To be able to take the cable car you have to visit the Harbourfront Center first. After that, follow the directions to the Cable Car. There are two cable cars, namely the Mount Faber Line and the Sentosa Line. The cable car starts operating from 8:30 to 22:00.
- RWS Bus buses
The most economical alternative to go to Sentosa Island. You should look for a stop outside VivoCity or Harbor Front. The closest bus stop is in front of Merrill Lynch Bank. Then look for Bus to Resort World Sentosa directions and select bus number RWS8. The bus operates from 6:00 to 23:30.
- Walk
The best choice because besides being healthy it is also very cheap to get to Sentosa Island. You can walk via the Sentosa Broadwalk which connects VivoCity with Sentosa Island. Your trip is guaranteed to be comfortable because it is covered with a canopy so you don't get too hot or in the rain.
